v0.2: Themes, Plug-ins and Bugs (Oh My)

Tuesday, October 7th, 2008 @ 1:31 pm

Well, v0.2 of the site is out and running. The main feature here has been the layout of the main site (well, in Firefox; IE backwards-compatibility coming soon), as well as cleaning up a couple of back-end issues.

Themes

The next major feature on the agenda is the addition of some nicer user themes. At the moment the only thing available is Kubrick (a.k.a. the default WordPress theme) which isn’t very exiciting. However, Azeroth .ME does support user CSS overrides for theme customization, so you’re not completely stuck.

In addition to creating some themes, we’re also looking for clever people out there to donate themes to the site, should they feel so inclined. The only stipulation is that the themes be semantic XHTML/CSS and that they are only available for use on Azeroth .ME (i.e. they cannot be redistributed for download elsewhere). Creators of the chosen themes will be given full credit, as well as an upgraded Azeroth .ME account, if applicable (exact details TBA). For questions and submissions, please contact us on theme.submissions@azeroth.me.

Plug-ins

Yes, we have them! The plug-ins currently available for users to activate include:

If any users have further suggestions for plug-ins they’d like to see at Azeroth .ME, let us know in the comments!

Bugs

It’s a sad truth; there are going to be bugs. If you find any, please let us know, either in the comments to this post or via bugs@azeroth.me.
